A world-famous museum, reimagined

We believe travel has the power to bring people together and change the world. It’s why we started our Community Partnership Program, collaborating with local nonprofits to give travelers a way to make a lasting impact on the communities they visit. Through this program, you can join the Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation’s remarkable $100 million effort to restore and revitalize the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration.

The project

The Ellis Island Museum Reimagined campaign will transform the visitor experience. This includes over 100,000 square feet of exhibits, people-centered storytelling, facility upgrades, new community spaces, and an expanded Records Discovery Center.

Your support

Help the museum continue to tell immigrants’ stories through a tax-deductible donation to the Ellis Island Museum Reimagined campaign. Your generosity will influence the lives of 4 million people who visit Liberty and Ellis Island each year.

Our thanks

By donating $18.92, your name will permanently become part of the Stewards Digital Manifest, which will be displayed in the historic Baggage Room at the museum on Ellis Island and online. The Foundation is also offering a commemorative medallion to donors who give at least $35.
